Since the thread is so fine, the knot will be small enough to still pull through the fabric without catching. Two of my favorite quilting threads is isacord for 40 weight poly and invisafil by @wonderfilspecialtythread for 100 weight use. Both however are short 3” high spools. These can get snarled on the spindle. Even if you use a sit down machine with side spindle , they can get wrapped and this causes a break. Doubling them gets the used thread higher and prevents this. If the thread is REaLLy slippery, place a round paper desert plate with a hole in it (maybe trimmed a bit too) between the spools. T
