🌊 HIGH FORCE – ONE OF ENGLAND'S MOST SPECTACULAR WATERFALLS 🌊 High Force is one of England's most spectacular waterfalls. This was the scene at around midday yesterday following a spell of persistent rain. The River Tees plunges around 70 feet over the Whin Sill, a hard layer of igneous rock formed around 300 million years ago in northern England, and into the gorge below.
