Flashing back to August in New England, here is one of my favorite mushrooms: the oh so milky #CorrugatedMilkCap #Lactifluuscorrugis. It is mycorrhizal with oaks and grows all over eastern North America in summer and fall. .When young the caps are slightly purple and coated in a fine white fuzz, as they mature the turn a lighter shade of brown.
