Every month I make a tutorial for my patrons, and last month’s tutorial was on painting environments! Basically I show you how I use a reference image as a starting point for an environment study, and shows you how I analyze the reference image, which tools I use, and how I add a character to the image from my imagination at the end. Every month I make a tutorial for my patrons, and last month’s tutorial was on drawing hair! I’d say my art is 90% about hair, so this tutorial was inevitable! I talk about how I sketch and paint hair, but also about how I use it to add movement and lead the eye around my drawings.
