From a pediatric occupational therapist, the biggest “bang for your buck” sensory input is PROPRIOCEPTION 👊 Proprioception is the sense that grounds us with use of pressure. It takes message from our joints (knees, shoulders, hips, ankles) and then tells the brain where your body is in the space. This gives us stability reduces stress. Sounds like a lot, but your brain does this as quick as a breath 🧠 The proprioceptive cup is hard to fill, but here are a few of my favorite ways to fill it up!
