The Romberg test is used to detect a disturbance of proprioception. This test is also called the Romberg's sign or the Romberg manoeuvre. Ask the patient to stand with their feet together and arms folded across their chest. Remain close at hand in case the patient begins to fall.

Le test de l’équilibre par le romberg ⚖️ Consignes de l’exercice : Se mettre debout, yeux ouverts et venir croiser les mains sur les épaules. Si dans cette position la personne ne tient déjà pas en équilibre : on s’arrête là. Si la personne est stable avec les yeux ouverts on lui demande de fermer les yeux.
