This beautiful green gemstone is very sparkly but is it an Emerald or is it a trick??? 💚 This is called a Soude Emerald which is a matieral made up of three components. The top (the crown), the bottom (the pavilion) and sandwiched with a green glue. I’m a Gemmologist and I really wanted to know what the components of the stone are made from. So I tested them on the Refractometer and found they are both Quartz 👍 When looking with the loupe we see bubbles, these are likely to be from the glue. T
